This item is a loss prevention door hardware product used to swing/hang a standard 1-3/4" thick passage door less than 7'.6" in height. Save $money$ using these commercial door hinges! These are dull chrome, plain or "standard" bearing template butt hinges and are used very commonly for swinging low frequency use doors in commercial buildings. This type of door is usually 1-3/4" thick. Plain bearing hinges are used when a door does not have a door closer installed to assist with the proper closing and latching. All fire rated doors MUST have ball bearing (or equivalent) hinges installed to meet building codes. These hinges are not to be used on fire rated doors. These hinges are equal to Stanley 179 and Hager 1279 because they are all made to standard template specifications. They fit the standard hinge preparation in all standard 4.5" hinge hollow metal frames and doors. These are classified as "standard weight" hinges and are made from .134" thick steel, chrome plated and then brushed to a satin finish. The common finish name is "Brushed Chrome" or "Dull Chrome". The BHMA finish designation is 652. More commonly known as US26D. Hinges are packed 48 each per case and 3 each per inner box (16 boxes of 1-1/2 pair). Fasteners included are "AWS" (All Wood Screws) and "AMS " (All Machine Screws). Photo shows the contents of one inner box. The box type may vary from the one pictured.
