General Radio 916-A Radio-Frequency Bridge w/Qty. 2: 874 Connectors and 916-P1 and P2 Transformers
Comes with a manual and what you see in the pictures. If you don't see it, you probably wont get it.
Specifications are from General Radio and may vary slightly due to upgrades, options, or revisions this unit may or may not have.
They are guaranteed to be in good condition but they are not fully tested.
The Unit's Serial Number Tag Reads:
* 916-P1 Transformer - Range 400 Kc to 3 Mc
* 916-P2 Transformer - Range 3 Mc to 60 Mc
The type 916-A Radio-Frequency Bridge is a null instrument for use in measuring impedance at frequencies from 400 kc to 60 Mc. Measurements can be made with decreased accuracy at frequencies somewhat below and above these nominal frequency limits.
Frequency Range: 400 Kc to 60 Mc.
Reactance Range: +/- 5000 Ω at 1 Mc. This range varies inversely as the frequency, and at other frequencies the dial reading must be divided by the frequency in megacycles.
Accuracy: For reactance at frequencies up to 50 Mc, +/- (2% + 1Ω + 0.0008 x R x f), where R is the measured resistance in ohms and f is the frequency in Mc.
For resistance, at frequencies up to 50 Mc, +/- (1% + 0.1Ω), subject to correction for residual parameters. At high frequencies the correction depends upon the frequency and upon the magnitude of the unknown resistance component. At low frequencies the correction depends upon the frequency and upon the magnitude of the unknown reactance component. Plots of both these corrections are given in the instruction book.
Satisfactory operation can be obtained at frequencies up to 60 Mc with somewhat poorer accuracy above 50 Mc than at lower frequencies.
Dimensions: 17 x 13.5 x 11.5 inches over-all
Weight: 34.25 lbs. - does not include packaging>
