We are offering for sale a crude fiber digestion apparatus manufactured by Laboratory Construction Co (later LabConCo?) of Kansas City, Mo. Serial no. 1186. Used in the determination of crude fiber in feed, food and other agricultural products. Features six heaters operated by 6 individual control knobs with variable input and pilot lights for each heater; steel condensers; control valve for connection to cold water supply; water outlet for connection to an open drain line and an on/off switch. Includes six 500 ml borosilicate glass round flasks with inverted cone bases. Returning reflux would splash on the apex of the inverted cones. See photos.
