Hatching eggs has never been easier with this humidity monitor for your incubator. This Holmes HHG-50 Comfort Check Humidity Monitor has been great in my incubator. It requires no batteries and easily sits on the top shelf or on the tray of the incubator, it's even lightweight enough to rest right on top of the eggs. Reads humidity % from 0 to 100 with a clear and easy to read guage. Even if you have a hygrometer in your incubator it makes sense to add this as a secondary. My hygrometer wicks continually harden and dry out due to hard water and having this monitor has been a great backup. Waiting 20+ days for most eggs to hatch is hard enough with out the constant worry of humidity levels, this monitor makes hatching worry free.
HUMIDITY PILLOWS FOR INCUBATOR AND HATCHING EGGS
Each Pillow is 2 ½” x 2 ½” dry, You will receive 6 pillows. Humidity Pillows are the result of a revolutionary new technology that provides a clean, safe and convenient humidity source for incubators. It’s EASY, just soak the humidity pad in water for about 5 minutes and then place it in the tray of your incubator. Humidity Pillows remain moist for days and can be rehydrated and reused. Because of their small size these work great in table top type incubators like Little Giants, Hova-bators or Top Hatch, they help avoid the mess and guess work of pouring water into the channels. They can also be used in the hatching trays of cabinet incubators to give that boost of humidity that chicks need for hatching.
