I cannot be responsible for your hatch rate, but fertility is excellent here.
Photo shows some of the birds in my flock that you will be receiving eggs from. There are photos of some of my other birds on my completed listings if you would like to see a few more photos.
Eggs are gathered several times daily and are stored in humidity controlled conditions.
1. Have incubator running, temperature and humidity adjusted prior to arrival of the eggs. Temperature for hatching chicken eggs is generally 99.5 in an incubator that has a fan. Consult your incubator instructions for the recommended incubation temperature. Humidity should be maintained in the 55-60% range for the first 18 days of incubation, and raised to 65-80% for the hatch. Humidity is EXTREMELY important. Improper humidity during the incubation and hatching periods can lead to disaster at hatch time, especially with small, thin shelled eggs. If you do not have a hygrometer to measure humidity, I would recommend getting one.
2. When the eggs arrive, unpack and place them small end down in an egg carton for 6-24 hours at room temperature and allow to "rest".
3. Place eggs in the incubator, either in an automatic egg turner or hand turn them 3x a day.
4. By day 7 to10 (with light shelled eggs) you can candle to determine which ones are growing and which are not. Discard any that are not growing. If you are unsure, it does not hurt to leave them until you are.
5. On day 18 or 19 stop turning the eggs, or take them out of the turner and lay them on their sides; raise the humidity in the incubator/hatcher
