This is my person receiver. Ive owned it since spring of 2001. It works flawlessly. Ive never had any issues with it. The Icom R7000 operates on 25-999.999 and 1025-1999.999 MHZ with no blocks. It has numerous scanning abilities and is a very sensitive receiver.
