VINTAGE DAIRY COW MILKING GLASS SLIDES MINER ? ADIRONDACK 189 x 35mm slides , 39 of them mounted under glass with metal frames (26 Brumberger, 11 Esco and 2 unmarked) 62 taped under glass (44 black, 14 red and 4 green) and 88 are in Kodachrome cardboard frames of three different colors (47 blue, 20 red and 21 orange). The majority of them are black and white and about 80 are in colors; about 20 of them have some cracks in the glass. Seems it was used as a slide show (diaporama) for demonstrating the activity and progress in the cow milking industry and promoting the De Laval Milker. Some photos are from the buildings, the equipment, workers at their craft and some of blueprints and design of equipment. There is also some photos of milking contest at a fair. One of the slide is dated 1949 and think that the slide show is from the early 1950’s. We think it could have been used by the Miner Institute well known for their Agricultural researches in the dairy and equine industries, at the Heart’s Delight farm which have been operating in Chazy NY since the early 1900’s. It comes as we purchased it with some old box parts . Please email if you have any questions, we know nothing about dairy / cow milking industry but we will do our best. S&H approximatly $ 20.00 for USA and Canada. (please look at our rules and privacy policy) |
