The IC-R70 covers LW, MW and SW in all modes. It has an analog S-Meter and features squelch, tone, Lock, preamp, atten., RIT, PBT and Notch. The rear panel has antenna inputs for PL259 or Hi-Z and for external speaker and mute. The Icom R70 receiver system is a quadruple conversion superheterodyne covering 100 kHz to 30 MHz with 100 Hz display resolution. Modes of reception includes AM, SSB, RTTY, CW and FM [with EX257 option- not included].
