The wire is UL/CSA approved AWM/TEW rated for 105 degrees C, 600 volts and the conductors are stranded, soft-annealed copper. The conductors are insulated with a tough polyvinyl chloride (PVC), making the wire heat, moisture, and oil-resistant. AWM meets U.L. Standard 758 & U.L. Standard 1063.
