This tool is used in hospitals throughout the world for only one thing, cutting a ring off the finger of an injured person's hand. It is produced in quality stainless steel so it can be sterilized prior to use. The round saw blade is hardened tool steel and cuts by turning the winged stem on the side. How many times in your shop have you tried to remove small bands in steel and thought, "If I use a hack saw, I'll destroy the surrounding area and the piece will spin as I draw the saw over it". Well this beauty will solve the problem. Just place the holding jaw under what you want to cut and turn the blade. Nothing moves, and only the material you want to cut. This tool also works well on finely cutting brass tubing with out destroying the shape. An excellent tool that should be sold in every metal supply store, but just isn't.
