THE SMART LOCK provides an easy solution of improved forced entry resistance to discourage breaking and entering through your sliding patio door when CLOSED or PARTIALLY OPENED for ventilation, keeping CHILDREN and pets in and INTRUDERS out with just a half turn of the handle. The unique design accomplishes this without holes being drilled in the track or frame having to accept barrels or pins. The lock is easily installed and holds the sliding door down and tight not allowing it to be lifted up and out of the track.
