I ran this for several minutes in both the FWD & REV direction. No strange noises. The three jaw holder on the back is missing the number 2 insert. This is easy to prelace, just remove some of the screws and install a replacement. The unit has the typical scratches and nicks from use, but still appears to have lots of life left. The three jaws on the front of the unit look to be in good shape with smooth operation in and out. The oiler has been removed and the plastic nipple is damaged. The pump still spins. This will need some attention if you want the automatic oiler portion to work. The oil catch is built into this unit. You could just use a manual oiler and then drain the catch if you didn't want to repair the powered oiler. The carriage has a 500 cutter, 500B threader, and a reamer.
