this scanner is pc interface compatible with the appropriate connector which is available at the radio shack, or you can go to http://www.butel.nl/arc83/arc.html the frequency coverage is 25-54mhz, 108-174mhz, 406-512mhz, and 806-956mhz except cellular. the scanner only takes 2 aa batteries or you can plug in a ac adapter on the side for a 6vdc at 300ma adapter and save your batteries. this scanner covers cb frequencies, ham radio, police, fire, paramedics, airplanes, taxis, rail, marine, and federal, and many other frequencies. as you can see, this is the scanner you need.
