I will be listing my collection of vintage stereo equipment within the next few weeks... Including but not limited to : 1950s or 60s portable General Electric stereo system 1970s Zenith integrated stereo system with 8 track player 1970s Studio Standard Fisher Dolby stereo cassette deck 1970s Kenwood tuner-amplifier-and turntable... Be sure to add me to your favorites list! I am very pleased to offer you this Wonderful Tube Radio , obtained from an estate of an avid Tube radio collector.. Works Great with clear powerful sound.. has ( Off / Pickup/SW/BC/FM-VhF ) push buttons for selection... I easily picked up stations on all features.. There are 5 push in buttons for various Speaker tones.. on the grill in front of the speaker. The design is exceptional.......and I believe the front as well as the speaker Tone and Feature press buttons are Solid Celluoid ...... This is Great Quality constructed of solid wood with a Gorgeous Golden Walnut veneer on the top and sides.. The finish on the unit looks to be in Mint condition...for its age maybe a couple of slight scruffs that are really not noticable....are all that I could detect.. the chrome details on the Celluloid volume and channel selector knobs , are still bright and shiny , as well as the beautiful wood veneer finish.. raised chrome letters/signature under the front buttons read Rogers Majestic.....on the back there is a label stating... Model RG5050a Rogers Majestic , made by Philips Electronics Industries Ltd.. it appears this Radio has antennas on the bottom....as shown in the last picture.. I believe this has input for extension speakers/turntable on the back.. measures about 17" wide by 10 1/2" high by 8" deep This unit does light up on the front channel selector strip.. it also has a small light in the top right hand corner on the front... the bulb is lit inside but it is hardly visible as lit on the front.. I believe the Speaker is high quality.....it is an AD 3560 M I didnt remove the tubes to see what kind they are, the only one whose markings are visible is a Rogers 6V4, another one is a Philips but the numbers arent visible and theres also a GE whose numbers arent visible., the rest of the types and makes of the tubes are not visible unless they are removed.. there is another component which markings are visible that says Honestly this Radio looks even better in person..
