Kit HF OCF Dipole Antenna for Amatuer radio. Everything is included, all parts to make a low loss balun and 42 meters of light gauge multistrand antenna wire.The only thing that is not supplied is the glue for the end caps. Any plastic glue will work fine. 2 Pages of detailed instuctions are included in black and white and if it is not clear enough I can email the full color version to you. This antenna mounted between 13 and 20 meters gives a low swr on 80,40,30,30,20,15,12,10 and 6 meter bands. The antenna is 42 meters in length. It has been used as an inverted V and inverted L shape with acceptable performance. The one I use handles 400 Watts SSB easily. The kit version was in response to helping new "Hams" get on the bands with one antenna that can be used on all bands without an antenna tuner. The Balun is made from UV stabilised plastic so it should last for many years. (please look at our rules and privacy policy) |
