Case 1840 Diesel Skid Steer Loader This skid steer is a Case 1840 skid steer that is about a 1998 model year. Engine starts right up and runs great. Hydraulics feel weak to me and seem to be weaker when machine warms up. I have not had the machine looked at by a mechanic but I suspect the main hydraulic pump in warn and in need a replacement. Please don't ask me how much it will cost to fix... talk to a trusted mechanic for that information. The problem could be the hydraulic pump or something as simple as a bypass valve.... I don't have time to troubleshoot the problem so the machine is being sold as it is right now. I drove the machine on and off the trailer today with no problem under it's own power. Engine is a 4cyl Cummins 3.9L and runs great and has no leaks. Seat appears new and is in perfect condition. Tires have about 50% tread and are of two different styles. (see pics) Gauges appear to work and hour meter works. Hydraulic system feel weak to me and may need some attention soon. Machine includes flat face aux hydraulic couplers. Machine comes with a smooth edge bucket in good condition. Headlights work as they should. Machine appears to have a recently replaced radiator and several new hoses. I don't see any leaks on the machine at all. Tilt and lift cylinders operate as they should. You can inspect the machine at my equipment yard near downtown Houston, TX.
