It has a fast response to changing pressures between 1 mtorr and atmospheric pressure, which is made possible by maintaining the temperature of the filament at a constant level. All of this comes in a single package, with the transducer and the controller circuitry built in, eliminating the need for a more-expensive rack-mounted controller. The Eyesys ConvecTorr Gauge offers two SPST set points for process control. The trigger levels are selected by a digital switch (which prevents drifting) to any of sixteen settings between 5 mtorr and 500 torr. Another advantage of the Eyesys ConvecTorr Gauge is automatic calibration. This is initiated when the pressure is either at atmosphere or at <1 mtorr either by pressing a button on the case or by means of a low-voltage pulse from a computer or PLC.
