Here a bit of a description of the machine. The thread peeling machine works due to the peeling method. The peeling unit, which is mounted on the cross-slide of the carriage, has a quill shaft, in which the workpiece runs slowly. The cut will be subdivided, so only relative small cutting forces can appear. The fly circle diameter of the peeling cutter is adapted as narrow as possible to the workpiece diameter. So a big chip volume, each engagement can be cut out. The form of the cutter is simple, so the costs of the tools can be held low. So thread peeling is the most economic method for producing of threads of any profiles.
The bed is stationary and torsion resistant with plentiful proportioned flat gudeways, which are grinded. The surface pressure is hold very low, with the aim, to receive the precision to the machine for a long time. The leadscrew is situated covered in the middle of the bed. The occured chips will be carried away thorugh oblique passages in the back on a plig plate. There passages are situated between the guide ways. For headstock and tailstock separate guide ways and are furnished.
