19th Century Large British Railroad Telegraph Key This is a GORGEOUS British Railroad Telegraph key. This key was likely built between 1898 and 1915. Made of brass attached to a oak desk, stamped into the metal of the sounder 16 AFE (Administración de Ferrocarriles del Estado - State Administration of Railroads). The item comes from an old railroad station here in Uruguay. AFE was founded by the British circa 1880. This piece is in very good condition as pictured and in full working order.
