A2 Tool Steel Round 7' dia. x 3.5' long A2 Tool Steel Round 7" dia. x 3.5" long A-2 contains 5% chromium and is heat treatable to a hardness of HRC 60-62. It offers good toughness along with moderate wear resistance, but less prone to crack than some of the higher chromium tools steels. Round diameters are oversized unless otherwise noted.
