Fertility has never been an issue with this flock; I have several roosters including this nice Red boy, and you can SEE the lovely muffs on the light golden hen shown here. All of my Ameraucana hens lay beautiful blue-green eggs and are very productive layers - sometimes we wish they'd slow down! These are STANDARD SIZE Ameraucanas, although they still aren't huge birds. If you are looking for a meat bird, these are unique in that the meat tastes a lot like quail, but in a bigger package!
