For sale a Wadell ultra precision chucking machine. NOT IN RUNNING CONDITION. This unit was manufactured in the mid 80's and used by General Electric. Has Z axis travel of 11.5" and X axis of 4.2". Eight station turret with lots of tooling. 15 HP 4,000 rpm spindle. Has a 5C spindle nose and 6" microcentric air operated chuck. Included way lubrication system and coolant system. Hydraulic servo controls with Heidenhain linear scales on Z and X axis. This chucking machine has a General Automation Spectrum controller that needs a new membrane button panel. I've priced it at $1,200 new and $600.00 for a used one. Accessories include Jacobs 500 series flex collets and extra disk drives. I have tons of documentation. Schematics and wiring diagrams.
