One of our most popular products! An extremely well-built tripod with 13' integrated mast. Heavy-duty construction with strong plastic locking collars works equally well as an antenna support or photographers' light stand. The top of the mast includes a double sided brass pin with 1/4" and 3/8" threads on opposing ends. This pin can be inserted horizontally or vertically and allows for an infinite array of antenna mounting options. The pin can also be removed to insert your own rod to act as an antenna support. Unique air-dampening in each mast section insures this mast will not drop suddenly. In fact, you can loosen the setscrews with one hand and let each section settle on their own. No risk of damage to hand or antenna! The tripod-to-mast fittings allow for total flexibility of leg placement. Drop the mast through the tripod fittings for 4-on-the-floor strength. Or spread the three legs to their maximum width for greatest stability. You can also use in combination with your own ground anchor or weight to secure against wind movement. (Hint: When mounting this mast or our 21' Mast with Tripod on pavement, use an electric screwdriver to drive a sheetrock screw into the pavement.
