It is the Bearcat BC 55XLT Model and works wonderfully. Specs are as follows: * Works on NASCAR radio frequencies * police sheriff and other law enforcement channels * LCD Channel and Frequency Display * Channel Lockout: Quickly and easily block channels that you want to have but just do not want to hear all day long (such as weather band). * Operates on (5) AA Batteries. * Two Battery Settings which allows you to use either regular Alkaline or Ni-Cad rechargeable batteries. For a list of NASCAR frequencies: http://www.milliron.net/nascar/ 1. With the radio on, press manual button until channel 1 is displayed 2. With the keypad switched on, enter frequency number including decimal 4. Repeat from step 1 until all 10 channels have been programmed. 5.
