Because of Class A operation the module can be used to amplify practically every RF signal such as AM,FM,SSB and CW. As long as the amp not overdriven no new harmonics produced and no low-pass filter needed. One of best features is its incredible stability, the amp won't oscillate even with open/shorted input/output. It is safe to have 1W output and reconnect load while "normal" amplifiers may get permanently damaged because of no load connected. Use the amp to experiment or test antennas,baluns and filters. Make 1Watt transmitter by connecting the amp to single transistor oscillator. The Amplifier was removed from working CATV equipment. It is a low noise, high IP amp meant to supply TV signal strong enough to split into multiple houses. If you want to amplify your own TV cabling you may need a pad(attenuator) because gain is very high(x1000 times) Assuming Class A only 25% efficient 1W output power !
