Westminster Shortwave Receiver ~ Short Wave Radio Offered here is a very nice shortwave receiver in very good condition. Has many features including: 8 bands (AM, FM, AIR, PB, WB, SW1, SW2 &CB) Squelch control, Volume and Tone slide switches & push button band controls... This radio also has two extendable antennas… both antennas are straight and in very good condition. The exterior is in nice condition; the battery compartment shows no damage from old, leaking batteries. The rubber feet on the bottom will prevent scratches on your table, the front cover has a time calculator on its inside. The radio weights about 6 lbs and measures about 11 ½ x 8 x 5 (WxHxD). Operates from 120V AC or 4 D cells (not included); also has a top handle in good condition. Have been listening to the bands for the last few nights. Strong reception on all bands, many foreign stations received. I do not speak any foreign languages but it sounded like French, German, maybe Italian and of course English (British) stations were heard.
