Here's a large iron sprocket chain wheel including the chain. It was made by Babbitt in New Bedford, Massachusetts. Cast in the wheel rim: Babbitt Adjustable Sprocket Rim No 3 ½. The wheel diameter is about 18 1/2". Add about 3" for the two chain guides which rotate on the wheel's hub in the same plane as the wheel. The rim width is about 1 1/2". The center shaft hole ID is approximately 3 1/8". Although I suspect this sprocket wheel to be quite old, the wheel and chain appear unused. For instance, the black paint on and around the sprockets is in excellent shape. There is some surface dust here and there (in case someone may consider this wheel for decorative purposes). Somebody mounted two adjustable steel hangers (bolt mount; easily removed if so desired). Please review the pictures and questions are welcome.
