The Icom SP-23 It is 8 ohms and is rated at 2 watts [4 watts maximum]. The SP-23 with four separate audio network filters [HPF1 500 Hz, HPF2 250 Hz, LPF1 3000 Hz, LPF2 1000 Hz]. Input A or B may be selected so two radios may share this speaker. There is a speaker on-off switch and a 1/4 headphone jack on the front panel.
Metal construction 5.75 x 4.25 x 11.2 inches 3.6 lbs. (145x111x283mm 1.65 kg). The bottom panel of the speaker features a pull-out tilt stand if you wish to angle the speaker. A single audio cable is supplied with a mono mini plug at both ends.
The cd-2 needs to be connected to a power source such as a power supply . NO POWER SUPPLY INCLUDED.
The CD-2 quickly and accurately decodes and displays any of the following conventional codes:
CTCSS/DCS displays are temporarily interrupted to display DTMF upon occurrence. All DTMF displays are stored and replayed slowly permitting observation of fast ANI or speed-dialer codes. The CD-2 is also used to remotely display user programmed data from our TP-154, TP-154 PLUS and TP-163 Repeater Tone Panels. The CD-2 also has an RS-232 serial port which makes all decoded data available to your personal computer using CD-2P Software for your PC. The optional CD-2P PC compatible software allows your PC to store hits, time and date of all received CTCSS, DCS and DTMF codes. Graphical displays show channel loading etc. Convenient menus allow you to view or print any of the following which has accumulated in your computer:
* Download and printout all programming data from your TP-154, TP-154 PLUS and TP-163 tone panels
CD-2 Installation Decoding DCS requires a direct connection to the FM detector of your receiver (De-mod output of your service monitor). If you only wish to decode CTCSS and DTMF a connection to the speaker leads will function with most scanners. An internal pre-amp with level control allows input levels from 10 mV to 4 volts. Internal jumpers allow set-up options such as selecting DCS polarity. THE CD-2 DECODES EACH OF THE FOLLOWING CODES:
MECHANICAL (CD-2, LT-2, CD-2-CAR) Height: 1.8 in.
