This appears to be simply a general purpose mic, with a touchpad. As such it would require a voltage, probably 8 to 12 for the pad, and may also have a pre-amplified element which would require voltage on the audio input also. I do not know this however. I am assuming so due to the fact that it probably was ordered for use with a Motorola, Aerotron, GE or that type of commercial radio. All I do know is that it probably was moderatly expensive and I don't need it.
