Full 3 Year Waterproof Factory Warranty A lot of people have been emailing to ask "How do I connect my GPS to this radio and where do I get the correct lead for it?" The answer is this. The Uniden Solara DSC VHF Marine Radio comes complete with a universal accessory cable which plugs into the back of this radio, but has bare wires at the other end. This universal accessory cable will allow you to connect any GPS to the radio aswell as external speakers and other accessories. All you need to do is contact your GPS supplier and purchase a data output lead with your GPS connector plug on one end and bare wires on the other. Most GPS suppliers do sell these leads. The lead should come with instructions as to which colour wire is what. All you then need to do is join the 2 NMEA output wires to the NMEA input wires of the radio accessory lead and you are ready to go. Please email me if you have any further questions about this.
