King-Size Toolpost - Metal Lathe PLANS uses large bits
Plans for a King-Size Toolpost for your metal lathe. Hefty high speed or carbon bits are more rigid and in other ways superior to the toolholder bit combination widely used on small lathes, however a conventional toolpost's slot is too narrow to accomodate them. This king sized tool holder will hold bits up to 1/2" wide. Has an easily set height adjustment feature.
