These terminators are particularly useful for terminating wires to connector pins, in-line components, ground wires to cable shields, coaxial cables and wire to wire splicing.These solder sleeves offer: * A precisely engineered, fluxed solder preform within the transparent heatshrinkable tubing provides a completely soldered strain relieved encapsulated termination * Compatibility with sensitive low temperature wires, such as PVC * Maximum operating temperature 125c * One piece design simplifies installation * Transparent insulation sleeve makes inspection easier Simply position the solder sleeve device over the components to be terminated and apply heat until the sleeve shrinks, the sealing ring melts and the solder flows. The result is a perfectly soldered, encapsulated, strain relieved, inspectable termination every time. Solder sleeve shield connectors provide a fast, reliable method of grounding leads to cable shields. The solder sleeve assembly contains a precisely engineered preform of flux solder inside a transparent heatshrinkable insulation sleeve with sealing rings. This provides environmentally sealed electrical connection. These sleeves contain a temperature indicator which exhibits a distinct colour change when surfaces have reached wetting temperature, this aids quality control and inspection of connection.
