At one time I had 4 of these units in use at once in my shack on various modes/bands. I used this particular one mostly for RTTY, and PACTOR on occasion. The serial number is 57702, firmware date 8/1/91. It comes in the original packaging with the manual, 2 radio data cables, a power cable, and a serial data cable. Except for a few tiny, barely visible scratches on the top of the case (couldn't get them to show up on a digital photo), this TNC is in excellent condition. No software is included, but it will work with the simplest of terminal programs, including HyperTerminal, which is included with Windows. PKTerm for Windows, written specifically for this line of TNCs, is available commercially for download on the internet, and there are many free or low-cost programs that will work well with the PK-232. Every serious contest logging program ever written will work with this unit. (please look at our rules and privacy policy) |
