The Model 429A is ideally suited for system development, test engineering, or production ATE applications. The 429A comes standard with one channel card, which can be programmed to either transmit or receive data. A maximum of 8 channel cards may be installed. The bus connectors are brought out the rear panel, as are the IEEE 488 and RS-232C remote interfaces. The 429A is capable of transmitting labels on multiple busses while simultaneously monitoring multiple receive channels.
