Breeds are GUARANTEED Bred True!
Fertility is tested regularly in our own incubators. These Welsummers are the kind of poultry you have been looking for. All Fowl are kept in segregated brood pens, and rotated on grass on opposing calendar days. Hatching eggs are collected from the pens each day. None of our breeding Welsummers are closely related or inbred, which means you can breed the chicks from these eggs for 4 to 5 generations before worrying about deciding whether to outcross, or to line-breed. Ideal for the small flock owner.
I will include Incubating Instructions if needed! Ask us questions about hatching… novices are welcomed… (R-Burgess@machine--tools.com) We will be happy to give you our personal recommendations for greater success. We would recommend good thermometers, hygrometers, humidity pans and automatic turners for those just getting started in hatching eggs. When you receive your eggs, allow them to set still at room temperature (70-72 degrees) for about 8 to 24 hours before placing them in your incubator. Do Not readjust your incubators temperature for 24 hours!
