EternaBond-Efficient and Permanent Roof Repair
EternaBond is one of the easiest roof repair products to use on the market. Available in a variety of sizes and finishes, EternaBond is from a technologically advanced family of sealants called MicroSealants. All EternaBond tapes are made using advanced MicroSealant Technology. Made from a unique combination of resins and rubbers, and infused with a built in primer, EternaBond is one of the most aggressive adhesives currently available, yet EternaBond is environmentally friendly. It works as easily as a roll of tape. Simply cut off the amount of product needed, remove the protective backing and apply directly to the leak (or area where roof repair is needed) and rub or roll aggressively. EternaBond is pressure activated.
More importantly than its ease of use, EternaBond's aggressive adhesive is capable of sticking to almost any surface. It is also compatible with traditionally difficult to repair roofs like EPDM (Rubber); TPO; Hypalon; Kynar coated metal and even most PVCs; and difficult-to-bond-to materials like polyethylene, fiberglass and copper, brick, treated lumber, OSB board and even Styrofoam without harming it! Capable of withstanding extreme temperatures, EternaBond tapes can be installed in temperature ranges from -20°F to well over 150°F. They stay flexible to -70°F. They also have an exposed life expectancy of 18 to 35 years, and a shelf life of at least 5 years. Because of the built in primer, roof surfaces do not need to be treated prior to installation, although a clean and dry surface is always recommended for maximum efficiency.
