STARRETT 12" MACHINIST'S LEVEL- series 98 with GROUND and GRADUATED VIALS This level is in very good condition. w/ original box I was asked by an old friend of mine to come to Baltimore, from New Mexico, and help him with the liquidation of equipment within a building he had just purchased. It had been a large Tool & Die machine shop. Namely, Irvington Tool & Die. Neither of us has had much experience with these machines or the accessories and tools. Yet, we are not totally ignorant of the value of these machines and will be satisfied to get a small percentage of their value. This is your opportunity to purchase these items at great savings. All of the tools we are selling are new or near new condition with exception to many antiques which are in varying conditions, as described. All of the lathes, presses, etc. are vintage and in very good condition. Everything within this shop was very well maintained. We actually have contacted the Baltimore Museum of Industry to donate some of these incredible machines. It’s our guess that most of these machines have had little use in the last 20 years, since the owner was very old and he worked here with one employee for that time. I can find nothing that shows any production work since 1987.We have found documentation that states he was born in 1920 and started this shop in the 1940’s. value of most of these items and are willing to let them go for a GREAT DEAL! and in some cases a real STEAL! Please feel free to call me (eastern standard time), if I can help you in any way, between noon and 8PM most days @ (***)-220-0130 Be sure to check our other items listed over the next few months for more great saving opportunities. We will be listing (please look at our rules and privacy policy) |
