5 Off ER16 COLLETS Description ER collets are the answer to everyones prayers. Each collet has a gripping range of 1mm ,not size for size as with normal finger collets. Gone are the days of one set of collets for imperial and another set for metric. For example you want to hold 1/4", then use the 7-6mm collet. The collets are designed with alternating slits from each end and as the collet is tightened in it's holder it collapses parallel providing far better gripping than conventional collets. Suitable for holding plain or threaded milling cutters, these collet are the industry standard for all CNC machines.
