The TB-440AC uses the TB-350S spindle and is coupled with a powerful, fan cooled 115AC motor that can be simply plugged into the wall outlet for use. A pigtail will be provided (not shown in photo) and A very inexpensive "router controller box" can be purchased to vary the speed of the spindle to best suit the material your cutting. The motor rotates at 12,000 rpm's and the pulley is geared up 2.2:1 to bringing the spindle speed to approximately 25,000 rpm's. A very popular speed for most hobbiest needs. Upon request the pulley ratio can be lowered to acheive higher torque.
