Here is a "Scribner's Lumber & Log Book". This pocket-sized (3" x 4 3/4"), paperback book was published by S. E. Fisher, Rochester, NY, 1946. The book has 188 pages. The book is filled with information, lots of charts and tables.. such as: Hints to lumber men...selection of standing trees,felling trees, seasoning & preserving trees. Scantling measure charts Board Measures Plank Measures Cubical content of square timber Doyle's Rule and much much more. An interesting book in very used condition. The back cover is worn and has damage and discoloring. About 15 or more pages inside have pencil marks on the pages and scribbles like in the back cover. The black spine is torn, but is mostly here.
