PORTABLE SAWMILL BANDSAW BANDMILL CHAIN SAW MILL WOOD PORTABLE SAWMILL BANDSAW BANDMILL CHAIN SAW MILL WOOD This is a small portable sawmill that can cut up to 16" diameter logs. It comes with 2-6ft pieces of track and 2-log clamps(one per track). More tracks and log clamps are available. It has a 6.5hp engine on it. This unit is clutch driven so the saw blade engages and disengages when the engines throttle is advanced and disengages when you back the throttle down. It has a Wood-Mizer brand double hard blade on it. Many other brand blades can be used. This blade is $20.00 and can be purchased from us or many other suppliers. This mill can be easily stored when not in use, it is light weight and can be rolled into a corner of your garage or barn for storage. It is compact but built tough like many of the larger machines out there. The blade guides are "Shoe Guides" which offer the best support on the market. We use standard shafts and bearings, heavy duty 1.5" in size. The unit is pushed through the log with almost zero effort. It has a hand crank winch to adjust for board thickness. Thickness range from paper thin to 8" thick boards. Widths are up to 16". This sawmill is ideal for sawing your logs into boards or re-sawing boards to the needed dimension. Imagine how handy it would be if when you needed a board or two if you could just saw it up right on the spot.
