Unusual Vintage Hewlett Packard HP Optical Chopper This is the chopper assembly from a Hewlett Packard 411A RF Millivoltmeter, circa 1965. It could be useful for a DIY project. The large component contains a Synchron motor turning a disk with holes in it. The lights seen on the assembly shine through the holes and intermittently illuminate four photo cells. Two of the photo cells are mounted to the main assembly, the other two are located several inches away and illuminated through the lucite rods. (please look at our rules and privacy policy) |
