Kenwood TS-180S & PS-30 HAM RADIO TRANSCEIVER 10-160 meters. I am the original owner of this radio and power supply. I bought it soon after it was introduced by Kenwood. This is a very good first radio for new hams or for anyone wanting an excellent backup of field day radio. This radio is in excellent working condition and it has the optional DF-180 Digital Frequency Control Unit and YK-88S SSB Crystal Filter installed. The radio and power supply are very clean no scratches except minor scratches on top of PS-30 where I had a power meter. This radio has had very little usage. I didn’t have a ham license at that time so it was used for monitoring. I lost interest in ham radio and it sat on the shelf for about 10 years until I got my ham license, then it was used for a couple years until I bought a newer radio and only used the TS-180s as a back-up and Field Day radio. The Kenwood TS-180S is designed for SSB, FSK and CW modes in the 160 through 10 meter ham bands. It also features receive of WWV at 10 MHz. This solid-state redio features a 100 Hz digital display with analog subdial. Power output is 200 Watts PEP SSB and 160 Watt DC CW (160W/140W on 10 meters).
