ONE BLOCK DOES HAVE SMALL MARK ON END AS SHOWN BUT DOES NOT AFFECT ACCURACY OR FUNCTION OF THESE EXCELLENT TOOLS! COPIES OF STARRETT 568 V-BLOCKS OR BROWN & SHARPE 750 VBLOCKS. THESE ALSO HAVE 3/8"X16 TAPPED HOLES TO ATTACH AS NEEDED.WITH NO ENGRAVING ON TOOLS. USED BY TOOLMAKERS AND MACHINISTS ALIKE FOR PRECISE MACHINING OR GRINDING OR INSPECTION . BLOCKS MEASURE 2-17/32" LONG x 2.995" WIDE x 1.976" HIGH SO THESE ARE NEARLY IDENTICAL IN SIZE TO OUR STARRETT 568'S WE HAVE LISTED IN OUR STORE. CAPACITY IS 2" ROUND,1-7/16" SQUARE OR 1-9/16" WITH SCREW IN TOP NOT AT 45 DEGREES. BLOCKS ALSO HAVE 3/8"X16 TAPPED HOLES AND CAN BE USED ON THEIR SIDES WITH CLAMPS ON DUE TO STEPPED DESIGN. THE CLAMPS HAVE TAPPED HOLES AT STRAIGHT UP AND AT 45 DEGREES FOR SQUARE STOCK. Please make sure to look at the photographs provided.
