It was capable of having three different schedules. As the step-mechanism clock clicked off the time, it would advance the bead chains one bead per minute. By crimping a “ball†around one or more of the 1440 beads on the schedule chain, it would trigger an external bell at that given time. Feel free to ask any questions. I will answer the best I can.
