This is an original disc sharpener. This is a tool used to sharpen individual discs off of a field disc. I have a similar sharpener that has a pulley in place of the hand crank - this is a great way to display your hit & miss engine! The hand crank has been brazed to the shaft (see photo). One of the levers has been broke off (I do not have the broken piece). These are the cracks or breaks that I can find on the sharpener.
