Unique Normende Portable Radio. Beautiful Design. Includes AM, FM, L, MB, and 11 shortwave bands. Made in West Germany. Pros: This is a beautiful engineering design. Very pleasing to the eye. Radio works. I only tried it on 115VAC power. The antenna is complete and works. Cons: Small crack near the upper left screw corner on face. (very minor). One corner, of wood case is cracked. I'm sure this can be repaired. (I have not attempted any repairs). One area on the bottom plastic plate looks a bit disfigured or melted. The terminals in the battery compartment look corroded. I have not tried to operate with batteries. The speaker starts to distort a bit with bass turned all the way up. There are some small dent areas on the grilles.
