This is a converted radio to the 10 meter Amateur Band This item is a standard Johnson 4230 station converted to 10 meters. This was accomplished by syntehsizer modification which adjusted the operating channels one megahertz up to the 10 meter band. This was a somewhat popular operational mode in the late 1970's early 1980's. All other specifications of the station remain intact. This unit operates from 110 vac or 12 vdc.
