The screws are #8 and 1-3/4" long in a box of 1600 pieces. These coarse thread wood screws are hardened and plain finished with a flat head and square drive. On the bottom side of the head are four nibs that help counter sink and hold the screw into place. Each screw has a self drilling Type 17 tip that eliminates pre-drilling as well as a second slot on the side of the shank designed to remove debris while screwing. They are great for use in furniture, flooring, fastening chipboard, OSB, framing or any general construction indoors and out. Not recommended for use with ACQ treated wood.
