Here is a RARE Yaesu FP-301D Regulated Power Supply!!!
Please see the pictures below...
I recently purchased this item and a few other Ham (Amateur) Radio items.
The person selling these items told me that he had purchased the items from someone who had their radio shack out in their back yard. This person had to move and unfortunately they moved into a place where antennas were not allowed. I was told that the items worked fine up until they were disconnected a few months ago.
The FP-301D power supply has been designed for use in conjunction with the FT-301 series of all solid state transceivers. It consists of a DC regulated power supply, automatic ID circuit digital clock and a speaker.
The FP 301D delivers a 13.5V regulated DC voltage with maximum current capacity of 25 amperes and it may be operated from 100/110/117/200/220/234 volts AC 50 / 60 Hz when transformer primary winding is appropriately wired. The automatic ID circuit transmits the identification signal (coded call sign) every ten minutes or manually. The digital clock displays hours, minutes, and seconds by either a 12 hour or 24 hour system, Either system can be selected by a switch on the front panel.
I have plugged this item into a wall socket. When I flip the off/on switch to on, the red indicator light on the upper right corner of the front lights up. When I turn the ID knob from the off position, its red led lights up. I put my digital multi-meter on the thick gauge wires on the back and get a reading of 14.12 volts DC. The switches on the front don't seem to do anything (maybe they do when there is a load on the power supply) and the red display doesn't light up. As you can see in the pictures, there is some oxidizing on the case.
I have looked into the air vents and can say that it looks clean inside. The galvanized chassis still shines. No smell of burnt parts either. One thing for sure, this is a heavy piece of equipment.
If for any reason you foresee a delay, communicate!
There’s always something out of the ordinary being listed.
